Officer and Commitee Leader Information
Welcome from the Westfield PTO!
As we start back to school, we would love to see new faces at our meetings, assisting with or even leading the many projects the PTO does for our students and staff throughout the year. Some of the projects can be done at home or a one-time-only commitment of an hour or two! Please read the list below and contact us if you are interested in any of these committees. A PTO officer or committee chairperson will contact you with more details. Dads/Grandpas: we need you too!
Westfield PTO Committees:

Staff Appreciation Luncheons: Set up Volunteer Spot for parents to bring in items for luncheon, and coordinate volunteers at school on day of luncheon. Two opportunities a year, mid-December and mid-May. Can have two different chairs for this. Planning time and setting up volunteer spot, as well as average 6 hours at school day of luncheon.
Stride For Pride: Plan for day of Stride for Pride in Sepember or October by ordering cups for water, reserving mascot costume, contacting art teacher for cup artwork, putting out Volunteer Spot for almost 100 volunteers needed, putting together packets for students, and being at school day of Stride for Pride to coordinate volunteers and help treasurer count donations. Volunteers help students with tally sheets as they run laps in the parking lot, pass out snacks/water after students are done running, and dress up in the Linn-Mar Lion costume and run/walk with the kids! Had a team of 3 co-chairs in past years to divvy up the responsibilities, 10-15 hours per co-chair average.
